These are the plain terms on which we provide a website and hosting to your Lodge. By registering, you agree to them on behalf of your Lodge.
The service
We provide a hosted website for your Masonic lodge, including the pages, tools and hosting described on this site. We look after the hosting, security and updates, and we work to keep the service available and reliable.
Your subscription
- The subscription is billed annually, in advance, at the price shown when you register.
- Payment is taken securely through Stripe.
- An optional one-off setup fee applies only if you choose it.
- You may cancel at any time. Your site stays online until the end of the period you have paid for.
If a subscription is not renewed
If a renewal is not paid, your site may be taken offline until payment is made. We will give you reasonable notice and a clear way to put things right.
Your content
The content you publish remains yours. You are responsible for it, and you agree to publish only what is lawful, decent, and appropriate to a Masonic lodge. You agree not to publish members’ personal details without their consent, and not to misuse the service.
Acceptable use
Please use the service honestly and in keeping with the dignity of the Craft. We may suspend or end an account that is used unlawfully, to harm others, or in serious breach of these terms.
Availability
We work hard to keep the service running, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We are not liable for losses arising from occasional downtime, maintenance, or matters beyond our reasonable control.
Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time. We may end the agreement with reasonable notice, or sooner in cases of serious misuse. On closure, you may ask for a copy of your content where it is practical for us to provide it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we will let you know. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
Questions about these terms?
Write to us via the contact page before you register, and we will gladly explain anything that is unclear.
These terms are written in plain language for ease of understanding. They set out our normal practice and are not a substitute for formal legal advice for your own Lodge.
